Rachel Martin B.Bus, ADFS (FP)
Financial Adviser
“Financial planning may seem boring, however if it helps you establish a plan that turns something unrealistic into something that is achievable then it becomes exciting”
Rachel’s philosophy for working with clients is based on getting them to think about what they want their life to look like… then showing them how to get there. This means that the client can then become passionate about working with her on the financial aspect of their lives because it is so closely linked with their lifestyle goals and objectives.
Rachel has worked in the financial services industry since 1998 starting off as a Client Care Manager and moving into the role of an Adviser in 2002. As Rhonda McKenzie’s daughter, Rachel made the decision to join Planning for Life, as a Financial Adviser, once she was able to witness the impact that Financial Planning could have on people’s lives. Being able to have such an impact whilst enjoying work, encouraged her to make the career move in 2003.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business degree, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently obtaining her Certified Financial Planner accreditation. She has also received the highly regarded Quality Advice accreditation from her licensee and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Rachel is very passionate about ensuring clients have the appropriate level of protection or insurance as she has seen first hand the impacts associated with clients having adequate protection or insurances in place.
